"નામ"
હુ જિવું છુ કે આ મારી કલ્પના છે
આજુબાજુ મારી માણસોની ભીડ છે
મારુ ચારીત્ર્ય એજ મારી ઓલખાણ છે
એ ભીડમાં મારુ એક અલગ નામ છે.

ज़िंदगी
कितनी कोशिशें की उन्हें भूलने की
लम्बी कतार लगी ख़्वाहिशों की
अगर ना होते तुम
तो बातें ना होती हौंसलों की

Perception
It is difficult to define something in this world as every single person will have different opinion or a different angel to it. We have all heard about the story of glass half full or half empty. Is it really a different outlook or is it just two sides of one coin?
As kids we are taught definitions for every single word, explained logic behind theories and proven with methodical experiments but do we use any of that in our lives. Do we actually remember those definitions while communicating with our friends, or think about law of physics when driving on an icy road or use the experiments of chemistry while cooking. But while we were gaining the knowledge, we started understanding the world in our way. We formed our own opinions about everything around us. We created our own world of Perception which could be right or wrong.
Perception has two definitions:
• the ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through the senses -This can be different for each individual as a person's ability and capability would not be he same. Like the basic knowledge of human body and how it functions.
• the way in which something is regarded, understood, or interpreted. - This can be generalized based on the affects of environment on a person. Asians are good cooks is a perception of people in west.
Till yesterday i had strong belief that a persons perception cannot be changed but Today somebody changed the way i see towards life and that made me realize that Perceptions can be changed. It could be the best way to find solutions to your problems.
Is the earth in between clouds or are the clouds covering the earth, what is your perception?

Happy New Year
Everything has to end and there is a new beginning after that end. Every year we celebrate the end of the day and welcome the new year ahead of us. I have always wondered why do we celebrate at the New Year's eves? Is it because we are running away from the past or we just need a reason to drink and party. I believe it is a day to realize what is happening in your life. A day to introspect of what you have done and what you want to become. To get hold of your behavior or your thinking.
I had an eventful year as i got engaged and married in the same year.I moved to a different country and traveled few places in the world. I met new people and made new friends. In all this hustle i forgot what is happening to me.
It took a lot of time to realize the situations, to accept the circumstances and to react to every action. People say in this 21st century it is easy to change and more easy to adapt to changes. But are we really changing; accepting new norms; learning latest trends? I can only say for myself and i did that in the year 2016. I have met a new me who has pushed herself to her last limits of patience and perseverance. Hope 2017 brings a lot better in me and a great opportunity to develop myself. A very happy and safe new year to all. Let's try and do what we say - one at a time!

New city
London is the city of history and culture. Everything here is dated and has some story behind it. But suburbs are pretty quiet and there is not much to do (i am still trying to find something happening). As a city it is very welcoming because a lot of people from different places of the world have come and settled here. It accepts everyone and I couldn't see why people complained about British people. However the time i have spent here has given me a wider perspective to life and i have also found my interests, what i really want to do. PHOTOGRAPHY. And i will be sharing my experiences with you and hope you will like it.My first attempt of doing photography was in Summer 2016 when my husband was going to work and i said "i will walk you to the station". After saying goodbye to him, I don't remember when i started taking pictures and it kind off became an everyday thing to go out to take pictures. Sharing some of those pictures here:
Hope you guys like it. I will be telling you more about my experiments with Photography!

Friendship Tales!
It really hurts me that even in after so many years there are people who don't respect your feelings.
Here is a story of people ditching their friends when they needed them the most.
Story 1
Kindergarten are the days of playing in the sand or eating chalk, it is about playing with kitchen sets or being a teacher in your own class after school. In a small school named "Angels" were two such small girls who were friends. They played and studied in school together. They danced and did swimming in activity classes together. They made friends together. It was all good until one of them started practicing the real life lessons in their friendship. Soon there were two groups with two leaders to choose from. Friends were pressured to be in one of the groups. The good girl did not say anything and moved on. All teachers loved her and more than that her parents loved her. She won people's hearts and respect and forgot about friendships. This was her first failure if you may call that with making friends.
Story 2
In between the classes of different subjects, there was chaos of students running up and down to find out which classroom they were supposed to sit in. The everyday schedule consisted of 10 hours in college understanding almost 10 different subjects. To remove the pressure and frustration, there was a girl and guy who started sharing things, personal life, likes and dislikes, general talks over tea or intense discussions over lunch. They had become so comfortable they forgot about their environment but other people noticed. Soon there was teasing and questioning. He chose to leave her and make other friends. He did not know why he did it and did not answer her when she asked questions. She let him go and moved on. She held her parents with whom she was transparent and whom she had told about him. This was another way of letting go friendship.
Story 3
After knowing each other for 3 years they were best of the friends. These girls would plan every festival with each other or some random trip of shopping. They were so close that they would not be shy to change in front of the other or buy girl garments. One day one of them was getting married. The other one was happy for her and was helping. She too found someone and got married. Suddenly everything changed. She did not treat her the same way. She would say wrong things in public to her and not be on her side. Soon the good one realized that the friendship is not real. She stuck to her husband and gave away the friendship.
I don't see why people have to be like this. There is no clear checklist to be found while making friends. Because you never know in what situation who will become what. But all you can do is be true to yourself and your conscience that's how you will never hurt anyone.

Agar wo samajh paye toh
Jab mile the tum ittafaq se,
Zid pakdi thi humne khudse,
Chahiye tha tumhara saath jindagibhar,
Rakha humne tumhe sarankhopar,
ye umeed se tum hi ho,
Pehchan karaye meri mujhse jo,
Nahi rehta wo sheesh mahal me,
Samanya roop me khada hai samne,
Na tumhari paas khandani daulat hai,
Par dusro ko khush karneki tumhari aadat hai,
Kiya hai humne tumse pyar,
nahi keh paenge hum ye baar baar,
Isse humari kamjori na samajhana e dost,
Hum kitna bhi chupa le par,
Humari aankhein sab bol deti hai har baar!!
